"Things looked very different for us on Thursday. But of course you always aim to win. Today, it wasn't the fastest car that won, but the team that made the fewest mistakes. That was us and we are proud of that. It is impossible to overestimate what this team has achieved here in what were almost extreme temperatures for the Eifel and in the middle of the two most intensive weeks in the history of our team. Huge praise is also due to our drivers, who were the only BMW car to do their job flawlessly and like Swiss clockwork under great pressure and were rightly rewarded with the big winners' trophies."

"That moment when our #98 crossed the finish line was indescribable. Our second overall victory in the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring is a very special one because we were also able to celebrate it with our fantastic fans, customers and business partners. In 2020, our first victory during the coronavirus pandemic, this was unfortunately not possible. We are incredibly proud of our performance and extremely happy about this great success for ROWE RACING. My thanks go to the entire team, who have coped with extreme workloads for months, but have never lost sight of the big goal.
